In October 2013, the 1971 Fund Administrative Council decided that the claim submitted by three fish processors before the Supreme Court (Political Administrative Section) for loss of income in respect of the Nissos Amorgos incident had not been proven, and instructed the Director not to pay any compensation in respect of that claim and to discontinue the defence of the 1971 Fund before the courts.
