In April 2012, the 1992 Fund Assembly noted that the Director had decided to appoint Mr Ranjit Pillai (Sri Lanka) to the position of Deputy Director effective 1 May 2012 and that Mr Pillai would also continue in his position as Head of the Finance and Administration Department, thus combining the two roles. The Assembly decided that the position of Deputy Director/Head of Finance and Administration Department should be graded at D2.
