Decision ID: 002855

In October 2002 the 1992 Fund Assembly decided that meetings of the IOPC Funds’ bodies should in general continue to be held in public, in the interests of transparency, but that the body in question should have the right to decide that a particular meeting, or part of a meeting, should be held in private. It was also decided that even if a meeting of a Funds’ body were held in public, the body in question should have the right to exclude from attendance any groups or individuals who interrupted or disturbed the meeting or if the body considered that there was a risk that they might do so. It was agreed that a provision to this effect should be inserted in the Rules of Procedure of the 1992 Fund Assembly and the 1992 Fund Executive Committee, and these Rules were amended accordingly. It was also decided that the policy of not allowing filming or recording of meetings should be maintained.
