In October 1981 the 1971 Fund Assembly decided that the ‘Non-technical Guide to the Nature and Definition of Persistent Oil’ annexed to document 71FUND/A.4/11 should be revised in the light of comments made during the discussion and then serve as a guideline to the Director when dealing with claims against the Fund.
