In February 2003 the 1992 Fund Executive Committee noted that proceedings had been initiated in the Court of Corcubión against the master of the Prestige, who had been held temporarily in custody. It was noted that in February 2003 the Criminal Court in Corcubión had ordered the conditional release from detention of the master since the bail required had been provided.
