Decision ID: 000295
In October 1993 the 1971 Fund Executive Committee decided that claims by two oil inspection companies for loss of work on tankers that were diverted to other ports as a result of the closure of the port of La Coruña due to the pollution should be rejected on the grounds that no economic loss had been suffered since it was likely that the quantities of oil corresponding to those on board the diverted ships would later be transported to the port of La Coruña on other ships and would be inspected by the claimants.
